We visited Castle Drogo during our Dorset/Devon holiday in which we completed our quest to visit the 100 Best Railway Stations. Castle Drogo was a bit out of the way on narrow roads. Part of the appeal was to see their Doll’s House collection. It was therefore very disappoint to find that they did not have enough staff on the day we were there to open the corridor where they are located. God willing we will visit again but only after checking on the day.

The castle is a 20th century creation with some very fine gardens.
