We had been to Hill Top previously but visited last week in order to see the restored Doll’s House. The house belonged to Beatrix Potter and gave inspiration to her Story of the Two Bad Mice. 

I didn’t take any photos of the house or gardens except for those of the Doll’s House.

It was necessary to book in order to be sure of parking. We failed to do that so had to go for a cuppa in Hawkshead before returning.
