Having decided to dismantle my previous layout the opportunity presented itself to do some work in the Garage prior to rebuilding. Although, plans for the next layout were already well developed.

The first issue was to have a professional do what I attempted to do three years ago, to get the surface of the garage properly level. This meant first removing everything else from the garage and finding places to keep it for at least a week. \

The main storage places were the living room and shed, although the work bench and work table ended under wrapped up outside.

The working title for the layout and main station is Springfield, but more about that later.
