Dorothy's accident 1894

Dorothy was living at the newsagents in 1894/5 when a barrel fell from a horse-drawn dray and damaged her foot. She was taken to hospital overnight but afterwards wsa always considered delicate as her foot was damaged and left her with one leg slightly smaller than the other. For a short while she was pushed around by her sisters in a wheel chair. According to Daisy she was thoroughly spoilt and idolised by all the family. There was compensation from the brewery.
