The parish of Holy Trinity Claines was created in 1866 from part of the ancient parish of Claines which in turn had been created from the ancient parish of St Martin Worcester.

Holy Trinity Church was demolished in 1969.  The former building was located at SO858551 on Shrub Hill Road.
There is reference to a "retained wall" still standing.

As of 2013 the parish is Holy Trinity and St Matthew, Worcester.
