Daniel and Samuel are together in the 1851 in Rushock and Samuel's wife is Maria.
Daniel's birth certificate given his mother's name as Maria Boucher formerly Watkins. Maria was living in Elmley Lovett.
Maria's birthplace is not consistent in the census being given as Salwarpe and Upton Warren and the date around 1821.
To date a possible baptism has been found in Salwarpe with father James. But the Upton Warren baptisms not found.
The marriage certificate for Samuel and maria has been found.  She was a 'minor' in 1840 and her father James Atkins.
Thus the fact that Maria Atkins is Daniel's mother is fairly certain but her birth and parents are not yet clear.
