In 1851 of the 60-70 houses in Friar Street some 14 were occupied by Harris's.
  

When John T Harris (14) was born his parents are given as James Harris (28) and Christiana (sic) Harris (29).  This fact was well known from family sources.
The 1871 and 1881 show John T with his parents and siblings. From this it is apparent that James was born in the area of St Nicholas Droitwich.
Although Harris is a common name, Christiana is unusual and therefore it has been possible to identify their marriage with a hight degeree of confidence.
All the censuses give Christiana's birthplace as Droitwich with the exception of 1871 which gives the additional fact that it was Dodderhill.
There is a suitable marriage at St Helen Worcester which matches their ages.
Their address is given jointly as Friar Street which would imply Friar Street near St Helen's except that a year later they are at Friar Stree Droitwich.
It is possible that Christianna was pregnant with William when she married James and this accounted for why they went to Worcester.
