'This is to certify that Mrs C Stafford 9582 has been employed one years one month in this Department as a Examiner and that during that period her character and conduct have been good and she is a good worker. She has now left at her own request (ill health)
She 'was employed as a Supervisor at the British Small Arms Factory in Small Heath. She obviously gave up work when she married in September 1916.' (Note by Joy Phillips, daughter).

Jack was living in lodgings at 96 Floyer Road, Small Heath when they married.
They moved to 1 Oakwood Road in 1923.
Prior to that they were at Floyer Road.
